Special Need Organizations

TerraBite offers two enrichment activities, 1) SPOCK and 2) Games. Both programs reinforce school's behavioral and academic philosophies. Certified teacher customizes program based on the schools PC needs and objectives. Once enrichment objectives have been met, students may explore TerraBite's gaming technologies. Staff circulates throughout the center reinforcing and promoting a healthy gaming and learning experience.

GIrl and Cub Scouts

(Webelos / Wolfs - juniors / Brownies)

TerraBite has developed an exciting 90 minute PC based activities to assist Scout leaders in fulfilling computer related activities suggested by their organizations (IE: computer badges, pins, belt loops). Certified teacher instructs class.

Program includes 60 minutes of enrichment activities followed by free time exploring our multimedia gaming facility. Qualified staff monitors activities.

Religious Organizations

Whether your objective is to celebrate academic achievements or reinforce spirituality, TerraBite offers a 90 minute Cyber based enrichment program to assist. Children spend time on Software, hardware, and Internet related activities. Certified teacher facilitates activities. Once objectives have been met, students may explore our popular gaming activities.

Public Schools & Recreation Centers

Public schools and Recreation centers are welcome to take advantage of our Apprenticeship Management Program or our Cyber based enrichment program. Each program reviews computer related activities followed by free exploration. Each program spends time on software and hardware activities.

Enrichment programs

• Provide answers and solutions to real business questions
• Reward students with popular activities once they have complete a TerraBite Activity sheet
• Reinforce educational philosophies and family values outside the traditional school setting

Apprenticeship Management prg. (ages 11 - 15)

This 90 minute program is ideal for schools or organizations wishing to educate and expose students to the inner workings of a corporate business and/or a career in management.

Children will join a state certified teacher and program director on an up-close tour of the business’s facility and operations. The program is designed for students ages 11 to 15. Students will learn about and be exposed to:

1. Important management responsibilities and day-to-day business operations,
2. Various computer applications and business software,
3. TerraBite’s original architectural blue prints followed by a brief introduction on architectural software,
4. The center’s operating utilities and how they function,
5. A detailed explanation of all technologies and hardware,
6. A preview and demonstration of TerraBite’s database management system and Point-of-Sale software.

After the 60 minute AMP program, students are permitted to freely explore our cyber center.

Cyber Exploration Program (ages 7 - 12)

Designed for ages 7 thru 12, this 90 minute exploration program is perfect for schools or organizations wishing to enhance student academic and behavioral development in a controlled environment.

Children will spend time completing a TerraBite research, activity sheet. These worksheets are designed to take the student on a trek through carefully selected educational websites and fun educational software. Students are instructed to hand in their work then answer a few questions regarding the assignment.

Students then spend time with instructor reviewing advanced hardware & software techniques for popular business applications. Students are encouraged to ask questions and demonstrate learned material.

Finally, the remaining time is spent exploring our popular cyber gaming area.

* Special consideration is taken for schools with At-Risk and Classified students.

There is a 8 student minimum

PC Summer Cyber Program (ages 7 - 12)

TerraBite offers our popular Cyber Exploration program during the summer starting in July. Students will learn and be exposed to popular software and hardware activities in a fun and relaxed environment. Certified instructor and staff supervise all activities. The remaining time is spent exploring TerraBite’s gaming center. Refer to sample aganda above.
