Absolutely. Parents do not need to be present. Qualified staff circulates throught monitoring activities.

R U kiding? If your child is between 1st and 7th grade, they will have the time of their life. TerraBite parties provide piece of mind for parents and a life time experience for children.

Why this type of business?
In today's fast paced society, parents are constntly facing: hectic work schedules, children school responsibilities, youth activities, domestic chores, and raising a family. These responsibilities leave little time for parents to enjoy what is most important, quality family time. Empathizing with parents; TerraBite has developed a fun and education place for parents to take their children. Parents can now transport their son and/or daughter to a safe, clean, and enriched Cyber environment for an hourly fee and at a moments notice.

How’s the atmosphere?
A completely renovated store located in historic Pompton Lakes, TerraBite has fused a trendy N.Y.C. cyber center with an upscale party palace. Professional architects and interior designers were hired to create and electronic showcase for the newest technologies.

Terra-(meaning Earth) Bite's environment grows just like our planet. Between 1:00 and 5:00 pm the center is run as extention of school. After 5:00 TerraBite’s morphs into a cyber gaming center as visitors flock to the center to play the newest games.

How secure and safe is TerraBite?
Security is the utmost concern. We offer a safe, secure, closely monitored environment, supervised by a qualified staff. Strict controls are in place, particularly those under 13 years of age. The facility contains multiple surveillance cameras and networks to local police and fire departments.

What about myspace or YouTube. Can kids access filtered sites?
We allow older children to access certain PC's. Our staff circulates around making sure no one is viewing offensive materials. That is why we position the PC's out in the front for everyone to view as suggested by computer experts and analysts.

Can I bring in my own video games?
Guests are welcomed to bring in their own video games. Games must be properly labeled.

Does TerraBite have parental controls?
Absolutely! A network firewall protects computers and guests from unwanted web sites, hackers and Spyware. Mature games are secure behind our counter and out of the reach of youngsters. Parental guidance is always welcome and in deciding what is appropriate for their children.

TerraBite primary focus is to reinforce, supplement, enrich, and facilitate computer-learning concepts. One of TerraBite’s goals is to make guest feel comfortable learning outside a school or home environment. Blending a structured computer environment with a cool place to share and cultivate knowledge creates an exciting learning experience.

What about the adults?
Why should only the children have fun? TerraBite has private gaming rooms perfect for parents. Parents are welcomed to sample and explore what the younger generation is playing (fantasy, sports games, Xbox360 live internet surfing, scanning, and business software).
